360 SPORTS ACADEMY
We believe while your daughter is enrolled in our Academy she will receive the best overall training this country has to offer, but it requires hard work and dedication by the parent and student athlete. We operate a very structured Academy and in order to see the results that you desire, you will be asked to comply with all the policies and procedures of this Academy. Our goal is to push your daughter to heights that are unable to be reached on your own. In the end we hope that your daughter will graduate from our Academy knowing that she now belongs to the growing list of young ladies that we expect to hold up to high standards that were established while at 360 Sports Academy.
Early Tryouts are typically mid July and Fall Tryouts for travel teams are typically in late October. Click Here for more info.
All team members will participate in age-appropriate off-court educational and team-building workshops. These workshops may include a 60-minute video/classroom session, NCAA clearinghouse preparation, team building and motivation, self-esteem improvement, etiquette classes, and career development with the coach on non-practice days.
All teams will engage in a minimum of 90 to 120 minutes of on-court training 2-3 evenings each week, which includes weekly strength and conditioning sessions. Silver-level teams will compete in local in-state tournaments as well as select regional events. In contrast, Black-level teams will have the opportunity to participate in both regional and out-of-state tournaments. Note that travel costs are not included, with potential travel destinations such as Milwaukee, WI, Indianapolis, IN, Louisville, KY, and Orlando, FL.
The season is divided into two segments. The first segment will take place from November to April of the following year, followed by a "Spring Break." The second half of the season will then run from May through the end of June. Participation in the second half of the season is exclusive to athletes on all Black-level teams and Silver level teams that are selected by the Director. $500 fee for extended seasonal play.*
Athletes will be assessed if they have the basic athleticism to play volleyball. We will look for players that are coachable. Players that are ready to listen and learn. Players will be evaluated by our coaching staff. They will determine if players need more time training in our Skills Academy or be placed on an age appropriate Silver Level team. Then for the next 3 to 4 weeks after tryouts our coaches will continue to evaluate players to determine if they will stay on Silver level teams or have the skill set to move up to a Black level team. Black level teams will have limited amount of players. Silver level teams will have up to 14 members. Silver level players will have a chance to move up during the season to a Black level team.
Black Level team members will have a higher level of financial commitment to the club. In return those teams will play in some higher level tournaments, including AAU Nationals in Florida.
Silver Level Teams - (All players enter at this level) Players must try out in the fall to join 360. Silver level teams are not eligible for all tournaments. May travel out of State. *
